Why halogen-free
When ordinary cable sheathing burns, the halogens in it can release toxic, corrosive smoke. In buildings where many people gather, such as factories, hospitals, cinemas, shopping centres, schools and high-rise buildings, halogen-free, flame-retardant sleeves help limit that smoke.
Sleeves are made to the length and diameter of the cable bundle, with a zip or hook-and-loop closure so cables can be added or taken out later. Send the bundle diameter, the run length, the closure you prefer and whether a flame-retardant or halogen-free material is required.
