From drawing to fitted cover
Every robot cover starts from the robot and the job it does. Send the robot model, a drawing or photos with the main dimensions, the range of movement, and what the cover has to protect against: dust, scratches or knocks. The cover is patterned around the arm and joints so it follows the movement rather than restricting it.
Reinforced stitching goes where the cover flexes most, and the fabric is chosen for the environment. A first cover is fitted and checked before a series is produced, and repeat orders are made from the same pattern.
