Choosing a fabric
Cotton woven protectors give a crisp, cool surface. Cotton jersey is softer and stretches over the mattress more easily. Microfibre is light and dries quickly after washing, and 80% cotton terry gives the most absorbent surface. Anti-stress, antistatic and anti-fungal finishes can be added.
A protector sits under the sheet and comes off for washing, so choose it together with your laundry routine. If the protector also has to be waterproof, tell us: for liquid protection we use a construction with a PU membrane, the same barrier used in our pillow protector and hospital mattress cover.
Sizes are made to order. Send the mattress length, width and depth with the quantity per size.

What is the difference between a mattress protector and a mattress cover?
A protector is fitted over the top and sides of the mattress, under the sheet, and is taken off for washing. A cover encloses the whole mattress with a zip. Where the mattress itself must be sealed against liquids, as on hospital beds, a PU mattress cover is the usual choice.
Which fabrics are mattress protectors made in?
100% cotton woven, 100% cotton jersey, microfibre and 80% cotton terry. Anti-stress, antistatic and anti-fungal finishes are available.
Can you make protectors in non-standard sizes?
Yes. Every order is produced to the mattress dimensions you send, including hospital and care beds.
Can I buy a single mattress protector?
